Kilkenny's Official Reopening

The IRGT were delight to attend the official reopening of Kilkenny Greyhound Stadium's new stand!

Our youngest ambassador, Una, and her lovely retired greyhound Lily, were absolutely fantastic, meeting and greeting every attendee!

The event was well attended by local politicians who were very kind to stop and chat to us about our work - and get lots of cuddles from Lily! We were also delighted that Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Martin Heydon, was in attendance and stopped by our stand to meet Lily.

We also organised a kids colouring competition, and were absolutely delighted to get over 50 entries! We couldn't believe it. It was a very close competition with a very hard decision to chose the winner!
