Addie is a big, cuddly sweetheart! He is a laid back boy who takes life in his stride. He is a big, gentle giant. He walks beautifully on the lead and loves exploring new places and meeting new people, who he greets very gently and asks very politely for some ear scratches! He can be quite lazy and enjoys sunbathing in the garden!
Addie is interested in looking at small dogs but doesn’t want to chase them – too busy napping! If another dog approaches him full of excitement, he will react with excitement too, but he’s never rough– just excited to make new friends!
Addie is very good meeting children out on walks, his gentle nature really shines though. As he is a bigger boy he might enjoy living with older children who can get involved in looking after a pet (give him good playtimes, but also know when he wants to be left alone for a snooze!)
Addie would fit in really well to a calm household with a garden where he can enjoy a sunbathe and a snooze! He would be happy to live with other calm, chilled dogs and children. No cats though please!
Addie had a hairline fracture on his hock, but it has completely healed and he shows no sign that it ever happened!
